Copa America Match Day Two - Mexico Shock Brazil

Mexico 2 - Brazil 0

An understrength Brazil missing the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinhio where frustrated and beaten buy a stubborn Mexico side.

The goals came after 23 minutes when Nery Castillo flciked the ball over a Brazilian to then volley home past Doni; and then then 7 minutes later Ramon Morales curled home a stunning freekick. Star of the show was Mexico keeper Francisco Guillermo Ochoa who produced a string of amazing saves to leave Brazil shock 2-0 losers.

Chilie 3 - Ecuador 2

The other match produced no suprises although Chilie had to twice come back from being a goal down.

Wigan striker Antonio Valencia chipped the Chilean goalkeeper to give Ecuador the lead but this was soon cancelled out by Suazo who smashed home from outside the box. Benitez then gave Ecuador the advantage before half time. In the second half Chilie again where poor until Humberto Suaz smashed home his second goal. This boosted the Chilians who scored a 25 year freekick late on from Carlos Villanueva to seal the points.
