About 'About a Ball'
The site was created in October 2002 and officially launched on the 1st January 2003. Since then 'About a Ball' has continued to expand and prosper, overcoming some early setbacks to cement its place in the world of football websites. We enjoyed a particularly successful Euro 2004 with hits shooting up accordingly and now look forward to similar success in the run up to World Cup 2006.
The site is run by graduates from the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Essex with the aim of providing good quality, original articles and features, as well as many other services we feel are not adequately supplied by other football sites. About a Ball is run in conjunction with a wap site so that you can access it anywhere, anytime - provided you have the correct portable telecommunications technology.
