Confederations Cup - South Africa 2009
The 8th FIFA Confederations Cup takes place from the 14th-28th of June 2009 in South Africa as a dress rehearsal for the hosts ahead of the 2010 World Cup. Four different venues will be used, including Ellis Park, Johannesburg, which hosts the final. There will be two groups of four teams playing each other once, with the group winners meeting the runners-up from the other group in the semi finals. In addition to the trophy, the winners of the final will receive prize money of US$3.75 million (from a total prize fund of US$17.6 million).

Match tickets can be purchased from the official tournament website (see link below) and cost from US$30-100 for group games, US$50-120 for the semis and US$60-200 for the final.
