Italy’s route to Euro 2008: Consistent campaign rewarded

With just one defeat and two draws in the qualifying campaign Italy qualified for Euro 2008 with their usual blend of controlled football and attacking flair and picking up points against their main rivals. Italy's Key Man - Marco Materazzi

Italy's One to Watch - Antonio di Natale

Regarded in Italy as a late developer, Udinese’s Antonio di Natale could become a household name at the tournament if he can recapture his club form for Italy at Euro 2008. The 30 year old has scored 17 goals this season for Udinese and has been rewarded for his fine form with a call-up into the national side.
