| NOTES: The Championship in Guyana has been held rather irregularly, with many changes in format. It usually involved a final to determine the winner, but a national league of sorts was set up for the 2000/01 season. There are 10 administrative regions in Guyana and these continue to organise their own competitions. The Kashif and Shanghai Cup was set up in 1990 and has become the most important cup competition in the country. It is played annually over the Christmas period. |
